Upgrade your E Ride Pro with a CNC aluminum bash guard and skid plate designed to protect the motor, controller, and lower frame area from rocks, impacts, and hard off-road riding. Built for E Ride Pro SS 3.0, SS 2.0, S, and SR models, this SKRMOD bash guard adds stronger bottom-side protection while keeping the fitment clean for upgraded Eride Pro builds.

Instead of only covering the bottom like a basic skid plate, this design also considers motor clearance, controller space, airflow, and long-term maintenance. It is a practical protection upgrade for riders who ride harder, upgrade their power system, or want a stronger CNC aluminum replacement for the lower protection area.

WHY UPGRADE?

The lower motor and controller area is one of the most exposed parts of an E Ride Pro during trail riding, jumps, hard landings, and muddy off-road conditions. A stronger E Ride Pro bash guard / skid plate helps protect this area from direct hits, scratches, and long-term wear.

The SKRMOD E Ride Pro Bash Guard is designed for riders who want more than basic bottom-side protection. It combines CNC aluminum strength, replaceable skid plate protection, larger upgrade clearance, and a cleaner aggressive look for E Ride Pro and Eride Pro builds.

• The inner space is expanded to fit larger aftermarket controllers and upgraded motors.
• 10–15mm extended spacing provides better clearance for bigger motor upgrades.
• Improved open-space design helps with motor airflow and heat dissipation.
• Note: If your bike is an E Ride Pro SR or uses a larger upgraded motor, please choose the "E Ride Pro SR / Larger Motor" option for correct bash guard fitment.

3. Porous wind-tunnel design for better airflow

• The vented design helps air pass through the motor and controller area.
• Better airflow can help reduce heat buildup during aggressive riding.
• Based on electric dirt bike system behavior, overheating can cause reduced power output or power cut protection.

Reference from Surron Light Bee X manual:

• Controller overheating: when operating temperature exceeds 85°C, the vehicle may reduce power and enter EP mode. If overheating continues and exceeds 100°C, power output may be cut off.
• Motor overheating: when operating temperature exceeds 130°C, the vehicle may reduce power and enter EP mode. If overheating continues and exceeds 150°C, power output may be cut off.

⚠️ Important installation note:
You must fully pre-assemble the bash guard off the bike first. Attaching each part one by one directly on the bike can cause alignment issues, and the mounting holes may not line up correctly.

⚠️ NOTE:

1. Bar-shaped adapter

• If your controller is the factory controller, it needs to be paired with the included bar-shaped adapter.
• If your bike has been upgraded with a larger controller, the adapter may not be needed. Please install according to your actual setup.

2. Pre-assemble before installing on the bike

• Because this bash guard reserves extra space for larger motors and controllers, do not install the components one by one directly onto the vehicle.
• Installing each part separately on the bike may cause the mounting holes to misalign.

3. Align all screws before tightening

• During assembly, lightly start all screws first until every mounting hole is aligned.
• After all screws are correctly positioned, tighten them evenly.
• Tightening one screw completely too early may cause the other screw holes to shift out of alignment.
