✅ CHAIN:

Adopting the chain of climbing bicycles, it has the advantages of light weight, small rotational inertia, low heat generation, low noise, and convenient repair.

❓ Why NOT use the commonly seen golden chains of motorcycle/electric bike specifications in the market?

  1. It is too heavy, with a large rotational inertia. At high-speed rotation, the impact between the gears and the chain is very strong, which will generate a lot of heat and noise.
  2. The heat transferred to the inside of the motor cannot dissipate, resulting in a decrease in power.
  3. The climbing bicycle chain we use is not simply light, but the suitable chain specification is selected through scientific mathematical calculations of the tension the chain can withstand! It is not simply a matter of stacking materials.

✅ SMALL SPROCKET:

Adopting a double-layer tooth design, two gear ratios (2.3 and 2.5) can be obtained by reversing the direction.

  • 2.3 Small Gear Ratio: The same as the original belt pulley gear ratio.
  • 2.5 Small Gear Ratio: The torque increases by 10%, and the speed decreases by 10%. It is more suitable for the surronh with a widened rear tire and is more suitable for riders who like off-road climbing.
  • Integrated Convertible: It can be installed in both forward and reverse directions. Whichever gear ratio you want to use, place that side closer to the inside of the motor; note that the chain must be hung on the tooth closer to the motor.

✅ LARGE SPROCKET:

Designed with a fully-fitted tooth shape and a mud drainage groove, made of 7075 material, it is tensile and wear-resistant, and does not accumulate heat.

MAINTENANCE

For the first use and running-in, the chain will be delivered relatively quickly; after the second adjustment, it will stabilize. Apply oil or spray chain wax regularly, otherwise the chain will be noisy when it is dry.
