E Ride Pro CNC Bash Guard Skid Plate

WHY UPGRADE?

The lower motor and controller area is one of the most exposed parts of an E Ride Pro during trail riding, jumps, hard landings, and muddy off-road conditions. A stronger E Ride Pro bash guard / skid plate helps protect this area from direct hits, scratches, and long-term wear.

Instead of only covering the bottom like a basic skid plate, the SKRMOD E Ride Pro Bash Guard also considers motor clearance, controller space, airflow, and long-term maintenance. It is a practical protection upgrade for riders who ride harder, upgrade their power system, or want a stronger CNC aluminum replacement for the lower protection area.

KEY FEATURES

- Modular Skid Plate Design: The bottom skid plate is replaceable, so if the lower plate gets scratched, worn, or damaged, you do not need to replace the entire bash guard. Skid Plate Replacement is available separately.

- Extra Clearance for Larger Motors and Controllers: The inner space is expanded to fit larger aftermarket controllers and upgraded motors. The 10–15mm extended spacing provides better clearance for bigger motor upgrades and helps keep the installation cleaner.

Note: If your bike is an E Ride Pro SR or uses a larger upgraded motor, please choose the "E Ride Pro SR / Larger Motor" option for correct bash guard fitment.

- Porous Wind-Tunnel Design: The vented design helps air pass through the motor and controller area. Better airflow can help reduce heat buildup during aggressive riding.

- Heavy-Duty Protection: Engineered for trail, stunt, and hard off-road riding. The ultra-thick design helps withstand repeated impacts from rocks, jumps, and bottom-side hits.

- CNC Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Construction: Made from aviation-grade aluminum alloy and CNC-machined for accurate fitment, clean edges, and high product consistency.

- Future Mudguard Adapter Support: Mudguard adapter options are planned for future release. Once available, the adapter will be designed for riders who need extra mud protection in wet or heavy off-road conditions.

AIRFLOW & HEAT PROTECTION REFERENCE

Based on electric dirt bike system behavior, overheating can cause reduced power output or power cut protection. The open vented structure of this E Ride Pro bash guard helps improve airflow around the motor and controller area.

Reference from Surron Light Bee X manual:

- Controller overheating: when operating temperature exceeds 85°C, the vehicle may reduce power and enter EP mode. If overheating continues and exceeds 100°C, power output may be cut off.
- Motor overheating: when operating temperature exceeds 130°C, the vehicle may reduce power and enter EP mode. If overheating continues and exceeds 150°C, power output may be cut off.

⚠️ Important installation note:
You must fully pre-assemble the bash guard off the bike first. Attaching each part one by one directly on the bike can cause alignment issues, and the mounting holes may not line up correctly.

Screw size and position:

⚠️ NOTE:

1. Bar-shaped adapter
If your controller is the factory controller, it needs to be paired with the included bar-shaped adapter. If your bike has been upgraded with a larger controller, the adapter may not be needed. Please install according to your actual setup.

2. Pre-assemble before installing on the bike
Because this bash guard reserves extra space for larger motors and controllers, do not install the components one by one directly onto the vehicle. Installing each part separately on the bike may cause the mounting holes to misalign.

3. Align all screws before tightening
During assembly, lightly start all screws first until every mounting hole is aligned. After all screws are correctly positioned, tighten them evenly. Tightening one screw completely too early may cause the other screw holes to shift out of alignment.
